Martin County Deputies rescue two people from sinking boat

Martin County, Fl – The Martin County Sheriff have reported they rescued two people from a sinking boat in the Intracoastal Waterway.

Here are the details:

MCSO MARINE UNIT DEPUTIES RESCUE TWO PEOPLE FROM SINKING VESSEL 

Another night of choppy waters and high winds may have been the reason this 15ft skiff began taking on water last night.  It happened in the intracoastal waterway near Island Way.  Two men were on board when the vessel began to sink. 

MCSO’s Marine Unit deputies who were patrolling the waters were able to rescue both men before the boat became completely submerged. Fortunately no one was injured.
