Martin Sheriff arrests homeless man who assaulted female employee in the bathroom

Martin County, Fl -The Martin County Sheriff have reported they have arrested a homeless man who assaulted a female employee in the bathroom.

HOMELESS MAN ARRESTED IN VIOLENT ASSAULT ON WOMAN IN GAS STATION RESTROOM

A female employee inside the restroom of a Martin County convenience store/gas station was strangled to the point of losing consciousness after a homeless man walked into the woman’s restroom and lodged an unprovoked random and violent attack on the victim. 

34-year old Israel Graham, who is listed as homeless, walked in, grabbed the woman and began choking her.  Despite her best efforts to fight him off, the victim began to lose consciousness and fell to the ground. 

Witnesses who heard unusual commotion inside the bathroom walked in and saw Graham on top of the victim with his hands around her neck.  The suspect got up and ran.

Deputies and Detectives were immediately called to the location and were provided a solid description and video clips on the suspect walking in and out of the store. They were able to track and arrest Graham not long after the attack. He was arrested and charged with Felony Battery and remains at the Martin County jail.  

The victim was treated for her injuries.
