House fire leaves two teens in hospital, claims dog’s life on Fork Rd

Martin County, Fl -Two teens are in the hospital and a dog has died following a house fire on Fork Rd.

Here are the details:

MCSO and MCFR worked to contain a house fire at a home on NW Fork Rd. An 18-year-old victim was flown to the hospital with smoke inhalation and burns.

A second teenager was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons. Unfortunately, a family dog died in the fire. It appears the fire started near a charging area where a an electric golf cart was parked.

There is no further information available at this time.
