Two thieves from Miami steal thousands of dollars worth of catalytic converters

Martin County, Fl- The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said the traveling thieves saga continues  on Friday. Monica Parra and Pedro Vero, both 29, traveled to Martin County for their latest string of thefts.

Here are the details from the Sheriff:

SERIAL CATALYTIC CONVERTER THIEVES COAST INTO TOWN WITH A WISH LIST,  BUT… #WrongExit

T’was the night before their arrest and all through the county, not a creature was stirring except for thieves seeking bounty;

Air 1 was patrolling the streets from the air; surveillance teams stood guard waiting for someone to dare.

While citizens were cozy all snug in their beds; thieves from Miami got it stuck in their heads.

Let’s travel to Martin and take what we can; Catalytic converters, our biggest demand.

So they moved through the streets and wasted no time, Monica Parra and Pedro Vero, both 29.

As they hit a closed business, they heard a strange clatter, they scrambled around to see what’s the matter.

By the flicker of lights, they could see from afar,  the #WrongExit was real, and that’s where they are.

The suspects both learned that this is no game;  crime in this county does not end with fame.

It does come with cuffs and a trip to the jail, a photo on Facebook and criminal bail.

So send out a reminder, a call or a text;  steal in Martin and you will be next.

Monica Parra and Pedro Pablo Mendoza Vero are suspected in multiple catalytic converter thefts throughout the state. They caused thousands of dollars in damage and loss to area businesses. They were taken to the Martin County Jail.
