Armed Robbery Arrest
21-year-old Nathanael Gotras of Plantation FL was arrested for armed robbery with a firearm.
Earlier today, Your Stuart Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery that had occurred just after midnight.
The victim stated they were walking in the parking lot of their apartment complex when they were approached by an armed male wearing a black ski mask, who was later identified as Nathanael Gotras. Gotras held the victim at gunpoint and demanded they hand over their cellphone. He then pushed the victim to the ground, took the iPhone, and fled the scene in a vehicle.
Officers tracked the phone to a residential area within Stuart, where a vehicle was located that matched the description of the one Gotras was seen fleeing in. Located within the vehicle was a black ski mask and the iPhone belonging to the victim. The handgun used by Gotras was recovered within the residence where he was located. It was later determined that the firearm had been stolen earlier this week.
Gotras was arrested and transported to Martin County Jail where he remains in custody.
