St Lucie, Fl – 3 Suspects from the Amy Lane animal cruelty case were arrested by the St.Lucie Sheriff.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE DETECTIVES ARREST THREE SUSPECTS IN AMY LANE ANIMAL CRUELTY CASE
At approximately 9 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2023, St. Lucie County Animal Control responded to the 4900 block of Amy Lane in Fort Pierce to follow up on a complaint from May regarding the number of animals located inside a residence in Fort Pierce.
St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrived shortly after to conduct a criminal investigation. With assistance from Fort Pierce Animal Control, St. Lucie County Animal Control removed 49 dogs and 1 cat from the residence, which was in deplorable condition. This week, SLCSO detectives concluded their investigation with the arrest of three suspects in this case.

Kelly Anne Murphy, 44, and Kimberly Renee Murphy, 43, were arrested on December 18, 2023, on active warrants for 50 counts of Felony Cruelty to an Animal (F3) and 50 counts of Confine Animal w/o Sufficient Food/Water (M1). Both are being held at the St. Lucie County Jail on a $1.5 million bond.
Brandon James Lyvers, 34, was arrested today on active warrant for 50 counts of Felony Cruelty to an Animal (F3) and 50 counts of Confine Animal w/o Sufficient Food/Water (M1). He is being held at the St. Lucie County Jail on a $75,000.00 bond.
