Plane makes emergency belly landing in St Lucie County

St. Lucie County, Fl- A small plane had to make an emergency landing in St. Lucie County on Wednesday.

According to the St. Lucie County Fire District the incident occurred at about 5 p.m. at the Treasure Coast International Airport.

Here are the details from SLCFD:

At approximately 5:00 PM a call came in for an alert at the airport. A small plane with 3 souls onboard needed to make an emergency landing at TCIA, due to faulty landing gear. The plane came in with gear up and landed on its belly. Two adults, 1 child and a dog were evaluated at the scene with no transports.
