INTOXICATED DRIVER LANDS 4TH DUI ON TRAIN TRACKS, FORCING TRAIN TO MAKE EMERGENCY STOP
An Arizona man who told deputies he just left a Jensen Beach bar, seemed baffled at how his truck crashed into a switch on the train tracks near the downtown Jensen Beach roundabout.

39-year old Kenneth Allen Deering of Kingman, Arizona was driving southbound on the northbound set of railroad tracks, just ahead of a oncoming southbound train.
The train’s conductor was successfully able to maneuver an emergency stop nearly avoiding a collision.
Deering told deputies he was not driving the truck, and blamed the incident on a woman he said he met at the bar, but he didn’t know her name or where she went. Witnesses say, Deering was the only person in the car.

Kenneth Deering has three prior DUI convictions, two in Missouri, and one in South Carolina. Because this is his fourth DUI arrest in his lifetime, he has been charged with a felony. He was taken to the Martin County jail.
