St.Lucie County, Fl- The St Lucie Sheriff and Coast Guard are searching for a missing boater.

SLCSO AND COAST GUARD SEARCH FOR MISSING BOATER

At approximately 3 a.m., a concerned boater contacted 911 after locating an unoccupied Carolina Skiff in the channel near Riverside Marina. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded along with the Coast Guard to investigate. At this time, a 50-year-old man is presumed missing. Air units will assist in the search once day breaks. Expect a large law enforcement presence along the shoreline as Sheriff’s Office deputies continue their search.
