Stuart, Fl- The Stuart Police are warning of a Scam Alert.

The Stuart Police Department has recently been notified that citizens have been receiving voicemails from someone pretending to be Lt. Gerwan from our department inquiring about an urgent civil matter. The police department’s real phone number (772-287-1122) has been spoofed and will show up on the caller ID, however, the caller will advise to call back a different number.
