St.Lucie County, Fl- The St.Lucie Sheriff’s office is reporting they busted Prestige Sweepstakes arcade in Fort Pierce along with the Florida Gaming Control Commission.

THE FLORIDA GAMING CONTROL COMMISSION AND SHERIFF’S OFFICE DETECTIVES ARREST OWNER AND EMPLOYEES OF PRESTIGE SWEEPSTAKES FOR OPERATING AN ILLEGAL GAMBLING HOUSE
The Florida Gaming Control Commission and St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office detectives executed a search warrant at approximately 10:30 this morning at Prestige Sweepstakes arcade in Fort Pierce.

The owner, 58-year-old David Roffey, was arrested for owning a gambling house, keeping a gambling house, and possession of illegal slot machines.

Two employees were also arrested for keeping a gambling house, being employees of a gambling house, and possession of illegal slot machines. Two patrons received notices to appear.


Deputies seized dozens of slot machines and $18,023.25 in cash.
