Port St.Lucie, Fl – The Port St.Lucie are reporting that they have arrested the suspect 59-year-old Omar Sueque in the “Repo man” shooting from this morning.
Here are the details from the Port St Lucie Police:
PSLPD Major Crimes Unit Detectives have charged 59-year-old Omar Sueque with one count of Attempted Homicide and one count of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. Mr. Sueque will be transported to the St. Lucie County Jail.
At approximately 12:20 pm this afternoon, PSLPD received several calls of a shooting in the 2000 block of SW Villanova Rd. Upon arrival, officers were met by the suspect, 59-year-old Omar Sueque, and detained him without incident. The 28-year-old victim was located down the road with several gunshot wounds and was airlifted to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
The investigation revealed that the victim was a repossession agent and was at the residence to repossess a vehicle, which was parked in the driveway. At some point during the repossession, the suspect, who owned the vehicle, exited the home, and confronted the victim. As the victim was seated in his tow truck in the driveway, the suspect approached the driver side door and punched the victim through the opened window. The suspect then armed himself with a handgun and shot the victim multiple times through the driver’s side door window. The victim was able to drive down the road where he went to a neighboring residence who called 911. The suspect also called 911.
The victim is currently in stable condition and is expected to survive.
