Get assistance with your taxes in St.Lucie County

St.Lucie County, Fl- Trained volunteers with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and AARP will provide free tax preparation assistance at several locations throughout St.Lucie County, starting in February.

Need assistance with your taxes? 

Trained volunteers with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and AARP will provide free tax preparation assistance at several locations throughout St. Lucie County, starting in February.

VITA sites offer free tax filing assistance to residents making less than $64,000 per year. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. AARP tax help is targeted at low-to-moderate income taxpayers. While the focus is on taxpayers 60 or older, volunteers will not turn away anyone because of age.

Assistance will be offered at the following Port St. Lucie locations: 

 VITA Assistance at the Community Center, 2195 SE Airoso Blvd. in Port St. Lucie, Mondays through Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (walk-ins) from Feb. 5 through April 10. (The site will be closed Feb. 19.) 

 AARP Assistance at the Morningside Branch Library, 2410 Morningside Blvd. in Port St. Lucie, Tuesdays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon (appointment only) Feb. 1 through April 12.
