RIP Trooper Zachary Fink

Good morning! Today was/is a crazy day in St.Lucie County. There are multiple incidents going on. Unfortunately all we have are rumors except for this. Trooper Zachery Fink was killed today in the line of duty.

This is what I know.

Right now we know the incidence of the escaped prisoner and the tragic killing of Trooper Zachary Fink are two different incidences. I do have other info and its second hand.

We will update as all this gets sorted out.

Our prayers go out to Trooper Zachary Fink ,FHP and his family.

Here is an update from yesterday:

Truck driver tragically killed. Trooper Fink chasing white kia that was initially seen on midway then went on 95 driving irradictly. Trooper Fink was chasing him and the white Kia made a u-turn driving into traffic. Trooper Fink made a u -turn to continue the chase and to warn people there was a car driving in the wrong direction when he collided with the truck. Truck driver doa on the scene. Trooper Fink critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries at Lawnwood. White Kia ended up crashed on commerce. Manhunt by multiple agencies. One of the suspects is in custody.
