Port St.Lucie Police investigating early morning motorcycle crash 

Port St.Lucie, Fl- The Port St. Lucie Police are investigating an early morning motorcycle crash.

PSLPD Investigating Motorcycle Crash with Serious Injuries 

At 7:11 am, Officers responded to SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. and SW Chestnut Ln. for a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash. 

Preliminary investigation revealed a Yamaha sport bike was traveling eastbound on SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. approaching SW Chestnut Ln. A Toyota Rav 4 turned eastbound onto SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. from northbound SW Chestnut Ln. into the path of the motorcycle when they collided. 

The 20-year-old male motorcyclist was transported to Lawnwood Hospital with serious injuries. 

The adult female Toyota driver was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The investigation is active and ongoing at this time. Please avoid the area as eastbound SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. is closed.
