Serious Crash Indian Street & Dixie Highway. Avoid the area.

Martin County, Fl- The Martin County Sheriff have reported a serious crash on the corner of Indian Street and Dixie Highway.

Here is the information from the Martin County Sheriff:

TRAFFIC ALERT

Vehicle vs public transportation bus

Indian Street at Dixie Highway is going to be shut down for an unknown amount of time due to a serious injury crash involving a vehicle and a Martin County public transportation bus.

FHP will be handling the investigation. Anticipate traffic delays in that area.

9:53 Here is an update from Martin County Fire Rescue.

Currently, only northbound lanes are open at SE Indian St and SE Dixie Hwy after a crash involving a public bus and a car.

The crash happened just after 7:30 am and has caused significant traffic delays.

The Florida Highway Patrol and Martin County Sheriff’s Office is also working the scene.

1 person in the car suffered serious injuries and needed to be extricated from the car. Another person refused treatment on scene.

3 occupants on the Marty bus suffered minor injuries.
