Here’s a quick review of everything going on this morning.

Crews from Station 24 responded to the 24000 block of 95th Street in Indiantown just before 1:30 am for a structure #fire call.

Upon arrival, #firefighters found a roughly 30ft x 60ft barn on the property fully involved with injured animals.

Crews were able to quickly get water on the structure, contain the #blaze & extinguished the #flames.

Sadly, 1 of the owner’s goats died in the fire and another was severely burned.

Thankfully, no one else was harmed.

PALM BEACH COUNTY MAN CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER AFTER SELLING FATAL DOSE OF FENTANYL TO MARTIN COUNTY WOMAN

It took the MCSO Special Investigations Section months to collect the facts and review the evidence, but after an intense investigation, 49- year-old Sean Bray was charged in the death of a woman he sold a fatal dose of drugs to.

40-year-old Katherine Dumont of Palm City, died of a fentanyl overdose in May of 2023. MCSO Special Investigations Detectives were able to determine that the fentanyl that caused her death was sold to her by Bray.

Earlier this week the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Bray in Palm Beach County on an open warrant for manslaughter.

This is the second drug dealer who has been charged by the Special Investigation Section with the death of an individual they sold drugs to.

Family members say Katherine Dumont was battling substance abuse for years and tried multiple times to beat her addiction. Unfortunately, in May of 2023 Bray sold her the fentanyl that killed her.

Sean Bray was taken to the Martin County Jail on $1,000,000 bond.

Florida Oceanographic Society has created a template letter that we can all use to tell the Army Corps of Engineers how we feel about the discharges.

Let’s flood them with letters like they flood us with polluted fresh water.

PSLPD Arrests Fugitive from Justice on Indiana Felony Warrant

Earlier today, PSLPD officers and detectives served an arrest warrant from Allen County Sheriff’s Department in Indiana on 35-year-old Roy Edward Crosley. The warrant was for Felony Battery on a Child.

The investigation began when the victim’s father contacted PSLPD with information the Crosley was living and working on the Treasure Coast. Detectives found the active warrant for Crosley’s arrest, but the extradition was only within 600 miles of Indiana, about 300 miles short.

PSLPD detectives, with the help of Martin County Sheriff’s Office, located Crosley’s place of employment in St. Lucie West. Knowing he was indeed in Port St. Lucie, our detectives contacted Allen County Sheriff’s Department detectives who were able to get full extradition on the warrant.

Crosley is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail awaiting extradition.

He is also facing local charges for Possession of Marijuana Under 20 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for items found on his person incident to his arrest.

Just another example of interagency cooperation at several levels!
