Port St.Lucie, Fl -The Port St.Lucie Police are reporting that a Trio from Miami have been arrested for Grand Theft Auto.

Miami Trio Arrested for Grand Theft Auto
While you were sleeping, a trio from the Miami area thought Port St. Lucie would be easy pickings for grand theft of a motorcycle.
At approximately 2:55 am, PSLPD responded to the 1600 block of SE Green Acres Cir. for an in-progress vehicle burglary in the parking lot. The anonymous caller reported that two suspects fled on foot and a third suspect fled in a red vehicle.
As the suspect vehicle exited the parking lot, Sergeant Derrico conducted a traffic stop and detained the suspect.
Meanwhile, a perimeter was set and K9 Officers responded along with drone pilots. K9 Ronin and his partner, Officer Gibbins, along with K9 Officer Miller and Officer Theriault located the other two suspects in the wood line along US 1. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident as a drone provided over watch.



All three suspects, Bryan Charnicharo (23 yrs old), Yurian Guzman (24 yrs old) and Alejandro Hernandez (22 yrs old) were charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Mischief Over $1,000, and Possession of Burglary Tools.


The motorcycle, which was damaged during the theft, was recovered and returned to the owner.
