PSLPD Cold Case Detectives Asking for Tipster to Come Forward Regarding the homicide of Charles Highlands.

Port St. Lucie, Fl- The Port St. Lucie Police Cold Case Detectives are asking for the Tipster to come forward regarding the homicide of Charles Highlands.

Here are the details directly from the Port St.Lucie Police:

On August 26th, 2020, Charles Highlands was found murdered inside of a vehicle in the parking lot of the BP gas station located at 1289 SW Del Rio Blvd.

As we approach what would have been Charles Highlands’ 22nd birthday on May 4th, 2024, the Port St.Luce Police Department is again asking for the public’s help with the investigation of his homicide. This time, detectives investigating this case are pleading for an anonymous tipster that has left several tips with Treasure Coast Crimestoppers over the past years to come forward.

While we recognize that Treasure Coast Crimestoppers provides an invaluable investigative resource to all law enforcement agencies on the Treasure Coast, and we understand anonymity is important for the tipsters, our detectives believe that there is a specific tipster that may have more information regarding the homicide of Charles Highlands.

Detectives believe that it is imperative that they speak directly with that tipster.

We urge the tipster to reach out and contact Detective Richard Giaccone at (772) 807-4401 and help us get justice for Charles Highlands and his family.
