Fort Pierce, Fl-The Fort Pierce Police are investigating a fatal shooting in the area of North 24th Street and Canal Terrace.

FORT PIERCE POLICE INVESTIGATING FATAL SHOOTING

On May 12, 2024, at approximately 7:29 p.m., Fort Pierce Police officers responded to the area of North 24th Street and Canal Terrace in Fort Pierce regarding a shooting.

Investigation revealed a 37-year-old male was approached by an unknown person and suffered a gunshot wound. He was transported by St. Lucie County Fire Rescue to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
