Port St.Lucie, Fl-Three minors were arrested after police said they were allegedly committing auto burglaries in a community in Port St. Lucie.

PSLPD Drone + PSLPD K9 + PSLPD Track Star = 3 Juvenile Arrests for Auto Burglaries
On May 11th, 2024, at about 1:48 am, PSLPD officers responded to a report of 3 suspects committing auto burglaries in the 1400 block of SW Iffla Ave.
The first officer on scene immediately deployed his drone and located the 3 suspects as they walked in the neighborhood. The three suspects saw officers approaching them and they fled in different directions.
One juvenile suspect was chased down by officer “doesn’t skip cardio,” the second juvenile was tracked by K9 where he hid in a wood line, and the third juvenile was tracked by K9 where he hid in a backyard bush along a fence line.
All three juveniles were arrested for a variety of charges including Burglary to an Unoccupied Conveyance, Possession of Burglary Tools, Loitering and Prowling, Resisting an Officer without Violence, Wearing a Mask During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Marijuana Under 20 grams, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and were taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
