Martin County Sheriff trying to locate hit-and-run driver

Martin County, Fl-The Martin County Sheriff is trying to locate the hit-and-run driver that hit a teen ager on a bicycle at the Cumberland Farms on Savannah Road.

MCSO SEEKING HIT AND RUN DRIVER

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a vehicle involved in the hit and run crash of a teenager on a bicycle. It happened last night.

The image below is taken from security footage which shows a partial view of a vehicle of interest which appears to be a silver SUV, possibly a Hyundai, Santa Fe or similar. The teen was riding his bicycle near the Cumberland Farms on NE Savannah Road when he was hit. He was flown to St. Mary’s Hospital with injuries.

The vehicle involved in the crash is likely to have passenger side damage. It was last seen going northbound on Savannah Road. The driver is described as a white male, with glasses and beard.
