Fort Pierce Police say officers were responding to a report of a person shot at the corner of 24th St. and Avenue M just after 11 a.m. Saturday. While on scene and providing care for the victim, officers heard multiple gunshots nearby and immediately started trying to locate the person who was firing the weapon.
