Another Pedestrian Struck By Brightline in Stuart

Martin County, Fl-Martin County Fire Rescue is reporting that another pedestrian has been struck by a Brightline train in Stuart.

Here are the details:

Our crews responded for a call for a pedestrian struck by a Brightline train around 6:45 pm along SE Dixie Hwy, just south of Stuart Yacht & Country Club.

According to the initial report, the male victim was hit while trying to cross the tracks, and suffered serious injuries.

The patient was transported by LifeStar helicopter to a local hospital.
