Port St.Lucie, Fl- The Port St.Lucie Police have reported they are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident on US1 near Walton Rd.

Here are the details from the Port St. Lucie Police:

PSLPD Traffic Homicide Investigators on-scene at US Hwy 1 near Walton Rd.

Preliminary investigation indicates a 27 year old motorcyclist was traveling North on US1. The driver of a beige 1998 Toyota Camry, attempted to turn into East Port Plaza from South US Hwy 1 and traveled into the path of the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
