Fort Pierce, Fl- The Fort Pierce Police have reported they have arrested a 70-year-old suspect following a stabbing incident.

FORT PIERCE POLICE ARREST 70-YEAR-OLD SUSPECT FOLLOWING STABBING INCIDENT

On April 24, 2024, at approximately 11:19 p.m., multiple Fort Pierce Police officers responded to the 200 block of North U.S. Highway 1 in reference to a stabbing. Investigation revealed an altercation broke out inside a residence, resulting in a 63-year-old male being stabbed. He was transported by personal vehicle to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition on Thursday morning.

Officers identified the suspect as 70-year-old Antonio Gonzalez. He was taken into custody and transported to the St. Lucie County Jail, where he was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
